Singing lead vocals, Victoria comes to the band from Seattle (previously with the Decoys and Aloha Baker). She's been singing and hamming it up since her teens. Vic combines classical training with well-honed chops for a "take no prisoners" delivery of your favorite tunes. She keeps the music of the 60s, 70s and 80s relevant putting you on the edge of your seat.
Bob ("Knuckles") played both piano and drums in his youth. He studied music theory and jazz under Ken Olendorf in high school. At that time, he purchased a Farfisa Combo Organ and Leslie speaker to play in local bands (Bob Wolfe and the Pack). He continued to play keyboard and study music in college. Bob has played Yamaha pianos for 30 years and always keeps a Hammond organ close by. He frequently sits in with his brother Tom's band, Cylas (Seattle-based). He has also played keyboard for Black Mountain Ambush, Broken Arrow and performs with the Street Band "Deluxe".
Son of Razr and playing lead guitar, Chris originally came into the instrument after playing piano and violin in his younger years. After religiously listening to his father's records, he was inspired to play guitar by Carlos Santana at age 18. Chris studied Instrumental Performance & Jazz at Columbia College Chicago. Since then, he's been absorbing every style imaginable and played with several bands/ensembles. Regardless of the setting, Chris maintains that a guitarist should always lock-in with whatever the band is playing. "It should sound good, dammit!"

Kenton has been playing drums since he was 10. From the Midwest originally, Kenton played in school musicals, private parties, concert band, jazz band and various garage band projects. In college, he was in the marching band, while playing in cover bands around the campus. He was always attempting to emulate his drum heroes growing up.
Moving to Arizona in 2000, Kenton played at his church for 15 years. Since then, he built a studio at home and has been involved in recording drums for a local artist and publishing cover videos. He always enjoys the challenge of being on the spot at an area open mic night to share chops with the talent in the area. Kenton’s viewpoint towards playing drums is “to do what I can to make the band sound better”
As the anchor of the rhythm section, Juan lays down incredible bass lines. Born in Cuba, Juan grew up in Miami and lived/worked in Los Angeles before settling in the Phoenix area. He performs many styles of music and brings out the best in disco, dance and jazz. Juan plays in a number of groups and frequently travels to LA perform as a studio musician.
Pat is the consummate troubadour, taking to the streets with a guitar on his back during his early years. He has a wide range of folk, country and soft rock songs that he plays at clubs and parties. Pat has encyclopedic knowledge of artists and lyrics. He belts out ballads with charm, intelligence and gusto. We're pleased to play with him as part of The Twist Tops Trio and alongside the full band every now and then. Pat spends his time between Washington State and Arizona, but never far from a six string and a group of avid listeners.
Rob Gordon joins the group on rhythm, lead and acoustic guitar as well as vocals and harmonica. Rob comes to The Twist Tops from New York City. He began playing guitar at age 10 and studied classical guitar and jazz theory at the University of Michigan. Rob has played in classic rock, funk, reggae and country bands. You may see him entertaining clubs in the Phoenix area with melodic acoustic sets.
He's the king of the conga!
His first band was Bongo Bob and the Jivin Miltones followed by The LeRoy Street Band. Bob had ten wonderful years with the greatest Jimmy Buffett cover band ever...South of Disorder.
Percussionists exist to add texture, a groove, to the music. Whether playing congas, bongos, tambourine, shakers, or dozens of other percussion instruments, the love of rhythm is all consuming. "For me then, playing with great musicians is what it's about. Everything else is just waiting."
Doug is the official SOUNDMEISTER for the band. He started singing at age 5 in the church. His father led singing and the choir, and his mother played piano and organ for over 40 years. He studied music in band and choir through school and college and achieved the trifecta of Most Musical, and President of Band and Choir. He has played guitar for over 30 years with various friends and notorious characters. He believes there is nothing better than playing or listening to passionate live music. His interest spans everything from Classic Rock to folk, blues, punk, new wave, reggae, and bluegrass. He would like to thank the TwistTops for keeping him sane throughout the pandemic.
